This Privacy Policy describes how ParkerStreet ("we", "us") handles personal information across this website (parkerstreet.xyz) and the products we build and operate — any ParkerStreet site or app that links to this policy (together, the "Services").
The short version: we collect the minimum we need to run each product, we don't run ad trackers or sell data, and where our products use AI, your content is only processed to provide the feature you asked for.
Information We Collect
What we collect depends on which Service you use and how you use it:
- Account information. Some Services require an account — typically a name and email address, either provided directly or through a sign-in provider like Apple. Passwords, where used, are stored hashed.
- Content you provide. Some Services store content you upload or save — documents, links, and the material derived from them (extracted text, generated audio, summaries) — along with related activity like read status or playback position.
- Purchase information. Where a Service sells something, payment is handled by a payment processor. We receive your email address and order details; your card number goes to the processor and never touches our servers.
- Log data. Our servers automatically log standard request data — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — and some Services record the IP address and browser associated with your login sessions, for security.
We don't collect your date of birth, physical address, phone number, social media profiles, or device geolocation. We don't run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on any of our Services.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies — the ones needed to keep you signed in and keep the Services secure. We don't set tracking or advertising cookies, which is why you won't see a cookie consent banner on our Services.
How We Use Information
- To provide, maintain, and secure the Services;
- To deliver what you asked for;
- To fix problems, using server logs and error output;
- To communicate with you about your account or purchases.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with data brokers or advertisers.
AI Processing
Some Services use AI to do their job — for example, summarizing, organizing, or narrating content you've provided. When they do, that content may be sent to third-party AI providers to power the feature. These providers process your content solely to deliver the service and are not permitted to use it to train their models under our agreements with them. We don't use your content to train AI models either.
Third Parties We Use
We share data only with service providers we use to run the Services, limited to what each needs to do its job:
- Infrastructure — hosting, storage, databases, and email delivery (primarily Cloudflare);
- Payment processing — for purchases (e.g. Stripe);
- AI providers — for the AI features described above;
- Sign-in providers — where you choose to sign in with them (e.g. Apple);
- Content platforms — when a Service fetches or embeds content from another platform at your request, that platform receives the request.
Each of these operates under its own privacy policy.
Data Retention and Deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. Order records may be retained longer where required for tax and accounting purposes. If you delete your account or ask us to, we will delete your personal information and content, except what we're legally required to keep.
Security
All Services are served over HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed, payment card data is handled entirely by our payment processor, and access to production systems is limited to the people who run ParkerStreet. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using current, reasonable practices.
Your Rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct anything inaccurate;
- Delete your data;
- Export your data in a portable format;
- Object to or restrict our use of your data.
Email us at the address below and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights (such as the EU/UK under GDPR or California under CCPA), those rights apply and we honor them.
Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
International Transfers
We are based in the United States and our providers operate global infrastructure, so your information may be processed in the US or other countries. Where that happens, it remains protected under this policy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our Services change. We'll post updates here with a revised "Last Updated" date, and for material changes affecting how we handle your personal information, we'll take reasonable steps to notify you.
